Power Lunch - US reading programme for primary school pupils

POWER LUNCH! is the original mentoring programme launched by the non-profit organisation Everybody Wins, where elementary school students from lower income families are paired with adult volunteers who read to them aloud. The concept is that once a week, for one hour, one adult reads to one child, one book at a time. Readers Are Leaders - US reading programme

A one-on-one literacy and mentoring programme by EVERYBODY WINS, `Readers Are Leaders` matches older students with younger students for weekly one hour read-aloud sessions. Like Power Lunch, it operates during lunchtime. Offered in select cities, Readers Are Leaders focuses on fostering the enjoyment of reading among all participating students. EW! Book Club - US reading programme

A project hosted by the organisation EVERYBODY WINS, which promotes the literacy skills of children from lower income families. In EW! Book Clubs, groups of 4th and 5th grade students and their adult reading mentors select a book to read each month. On a specified day, the Club gathers for a group discussion led by the school librarian or reading mentor.

EVERYBODY WINS! - POWER LUNCH proven results (US reading programme)

POWER LUNCH! is the original mentoring programme launched by the non-profit organisation Everybody Wins, where elementary school students from lower income families are paired with adult volunteers who read to them aloud.
